Community Care Officer (London)
All posts will primarily, but not exclusively, serve Hongkongers with British National (Overseas) status.
These Projects aim to provide a direct support service to Hongkongers to empower them with knowledge of the UK system, their rights and options in making choices or accessing services, and empower Hongkongers to become confident with the British system and culture. Under the projects, we aim to achieve four targets below:
Supporting single adults with BN(O) visas aged from 18 to 35 who migrate to London independently through casework support.
Casework support will aim to prevent crisis and foster young BN(O)s adaption to life in the UK.
Through providing mental support, mutual support via networking activities, and raising civil awareness among the target group
We aim to strengthen and encourage their self-help and cultivate networks among the target community so they can mutually help each other even when this project ends.
